Come enjoy Puntzi Lake!
Barney’s is a 12-acre lakeside resort located on beautiful Puntzi Lake. The lake is approximately 11km long and 5km wide with over 500’ of lake frontage, RV, and campground. Cabins range from 1 to 7 bedrooms.

Go fishing for wild rainbow trout and kokanee (salmon)! We are a bird watcher’s (view our resident nesting pelicans!) and wild life viewing paradise. You can also enjoy hiking, mountain biking, ATV, water skiing, swimming, jet skiing, ice fishing, and snowmobiling!
We are located 2 hours west of Williams Lake and 4 hours east of Bella Coola.

Great wedding Retreat! This is an amazing resort. The grounds and cottages are well maintained and have everything you need. Shannon was an amazing host. 5 star resort all around. You will not be disappointed! The cottage had a kitchen was fully stocked and spotless. The beds were so comfortable. The barbecue was a great touch. We stayed there for my grandson's wedding by the waterfront.
Shannon and her husband were most accommodating to make the wedding went smoothly. The grounds were well maintained making it a picturesque setting for the wedding. The resort is located is in a remote area making it a stress free getaway from the busy hub of our lives. Although we did not fish others told us how amazing the fishing is there. We will definitely be back.​​

Went here while doing work in the area. Barney's was a really nice place to stay. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The bed was more comfortable than a lot of hotels I have stayed at. My cabin had power with fridge, stove, toaster, and microwave. There were towels and face cloths available for my use in the kitchen and bedrooms. There was a wood stove for the colder months as well as a gas BBQ on the deck. Shannon and Skip were friendly and great to deal with. If I was travelling in this region again I would certainly stay here again.

Beautiful lakeside camping for the whole family, 9 extra large full hook up RV sites, pull through big rig friendly, 6 additional campsite (2 partial hook ups with water and power / 4 dry), 1 campsite with travel trailer rental, and 4 lakeside camping spots.

Full men’s and women’s showers, flush toilets. Sani dump available ($20 fee).

Cabins include beds, sofa beds, towels and bedding.

Full kitchens: All kitchens include utensils, pots, pans, microwave, fridge, stove, oven, coffee, tea, sugar, and whitener.

Our 7 bedroom Cabin is open all year round for weddings, reunions, corporate events, music festivals, and large fishing or hunting groups.

Boat rentals: 14' or 16’ aluminum fishing gas motorboats available ($80/full day). Two double kayaks ($40/full day). Canoe ($40/full day). Please ask about half day rates.

Our property boasts a boat house, fish cleaning house, boat launch and two 40’ docks.

No day use for the public. This is a private resort.
